We are evolving in a fast paced environment with a strong will to scale. As you may imagine reaching this level of ambition requires a lot of product development, that is why we are looking for a Senior Product Developer to help us shape our engineering workflows, to scale our product and our team in order for us to go "on step beyond".

β€‹πŸ™Œ What will you be doing ?

Our Product Team's mission is to improve and design both new and existing features of any aspect of the product including dashboard, editing engine, collaboration tools, data modelling, public API, service integrations...

Like every member of the Product team you will shape the future of our product. You will be encouraged to share your thoughts and opinions about design as well as to come up with initiatives about the product.

As a member of our Product Team you will be part of the application design and architecture, starting from scratch to the actual implementation. Your day-to-day life will vary from suggesting new features and participating to UX workshop, to developing new features, architecting technical solutions and improving performances as well as debugging. You will also be writing code reviews to enhance our team's competencies, participating to users support, writing blog posts about new features, contributing to the update of our changelog...

We are working with 1 week sprints to create a great dynamic with our entire 10 (soon to be 11 😎 ) peoples-team, to improve performance and to help us deliver on ambitious goals all together.

On a daily basis you will be closely working with our entire Product Team and you will also have a lot of interactions with our Go-to-Market Team to discuss customers' feedbacks, product roadmap...

  2. As the next step, our Talent Manager will call you so the both of you will be able to ensure there is a correlation between GitBook's expectations, the role and your own expectations.

  3. Then, you will have the opportunity to discuss with one of GitBook's founders about our story, our vision and ambition, and ensuring there is a fit with our culture and core values.

  4. Afterwards, you will be meeting with two members of our Product Team to share about role specifics such as required skills, knowledge, abilities as well as working environment, day-to-day life...

  5. Finally, you will have the opportunity to meet with the entire team to determine if we would like to work together on a daily basis and share drink/lunches after work.
