GitBook is a documentation platform sustained by some of the best SaaS europeans VCs (Point 9 Capital, Notion Capital, Fly VC), used by over 500,000 users and thousands of companies such as Adobe, Adeo, Coursera, Decathlon, DuckDuckGo or Redux.
Our ambition is to modernise how we share and leverage knowledge for teams. At GitBook our mission is to make a user-friendly and collaborative product for everyone to use in order to create, edit and share knowledge through documentation across technical and non technical teams.
We are evolving in a fast paced environment with a strong will to scale. As you may imagine reaching this level of ambition requires a lot of sales efforts, that is why we are looking for a Sales to bring our Go-to-Market strategy "one step beyond" by developing sales supported income segment and discovering new market segments.
Our Go-to-Market team members are pioneers who shape the future of GitBook. Our Sales team's mission is to continue to grow our current revenues (coming mostly from tech assemblies) while supporting our Go-to-Market strategy by discovering new market segments.
As a member of our Sales team you will manage multiple customers simultaneously and you will be the owner of the entire funnel :
from inbound leads qualification : understand prospect's use case, validate customer need, determine timeline...
and discovery : understand customers' business objectives and requirements, expand on prospect's use case...
as well as closing : demonstrate how we can meet prospect's use cas, requirements or business goals, help prospect's discover the added value of our product, agree on pricing options, closing...
to customer on-boarding : you will also be an important part in the follow up of new customers to insure a perfect product on-boarding.
In your daily life you will be discussing with customers to understand their business objectives. You will act as a trusted guide to help them in using GitBook most effectively and make them discover the added value of our product.
You will also be the voice of our customers by collecting their feedbacks to drive our product continuous improvement, thus you will provide recommendations based on customers business needs and usage patterns and work closely with cross-functional teams (product, data, support...) to help align our product roadmap.
It will be important that you're able to have an analytical approach to identify bottlenecks and a problem-solver mindset to take actions in order to continuously improve our sales strategy.
We are working with 2 weeks sprints to create a great dynamic with our entire 11 people-team, to improve performance and to help us deliver on ambitious goals all together.
On a daily basis you will be closely working with our Go-to-Market Team and you will also have a lot of interactions with our entire Product Team to discuss customers' feedbacks, product roadmap... If you want to get to know more about our team do not hesitate to have a look at our about page.
You will bring to the table :
your capacity of dealing with hiccups during negotiation phases, in short your ability to successfully close deals
your data-and-analytic driven mindset
your deep knowledge of selling SaaS BtoB allowing you to spot bottleneck and come up with "great" (meaning data-oriented) solutions
your proven ability to take business from traction to scale as you know how to create a real machine to monetise inbound leads, adding outbound and driving expansion

As the next step, our Talent Manager will call you so the both of you will be able to ensure there is a correlation between GitBook's expectations, the role and your own expectations.
Then, you will have the opportunity to discuss with one of GitBook's founders about our story, our vision and ambition, and ensuring there is a fit with our culture and core values.
Afterwards, you will be meeting with two members of our Go-to-Market Team to share about role specifics such as required skills, knowledge, abilities as well as working environment, day-to-day life...
Finally, you will have the opportunity to meet with the entire team to determine if we would like to work together on a daily basis and share drink/lunches after work.
